DHUL-QA’DAH 1445 AH PRESS RELEASE

The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) – under the leadership of its President-General and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alh. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni – wishes to inform the Nigerian Muslim Ummah that there was positive report of the sighting of the crescent of Dhul-Qa’dah 1445 AH on the 29th of Shawwal 1445 AH.

Consequently, today, Thursday, 9^th May 2024 is hereby declared as the 1^st day of Dhul-Qa’dah 1445 AH.
