All Muslims Communities, Islamic Organizations and individuals in Nigeria form the constituents of the Council and shall be linked thereto by their respective State Central bodies to be known as “State Councils for Islamic Affairs” which are hereinafter referred to as “State Council”
For the purposes of this Constitution, “member” or “an Islamic Organisation of Body” shall be any person or group of persons who embrace Islam and accept the finality of the prophet hood of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (P.B.O.H).
