The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) under the leadership of its President-General and Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Alh. Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, wishes to inform the entire Muslim Ummah that there was positive sighting of the Crescent of Ramadan 1442 AH after sunset today Monday, 12th April, 2021 which is equivalent to 29th Sha’aban, 1442 AH.
Therefore, tomorrow Tuesday, 13th April, 1442 AH is the 1st day of Ramadan, 1442 AH.
The Council wishes the entire Ummah a successful Ramadan fast and prays Allah spare our lives to witness more of it on earth. Amin.
